We describe our hinges as accurately as we can. Finishes and colours can appear differently on different screens, and makers revise finishes, packaging and included screws between production runs, so small differences between an image and the product you receive are normal. Sizes, materials, finishes, pack counts, box contents and any load or opening angle figures shown are the details published by the maker.
Fitting guidance and safe use
Where a product page gives a load rating, opening angle, door weight or thickness range, it is the maker's figure, not our assessment of your door, gate or cabinet. Hinges carry weight and have sharp edges, springs and small screws, so keep them away from children and fit them with care. Check the fixing, the substrate and the hinge count against the maker's instructions, and use a qualified tradesperson for fire doors, pool gates, glass panels and anything that carries a safety or building code requirement.
